The last Hungarian "Pannónia" motorcycle was manufactured in Csepel on October 24, 1975, but the brand is being revived by a small team of enthusiasts. The new one will be presented at the end of this year.

A small Hungarian invester group decided to relaunch Pannonia after three decades of inactivity. The first brand new model will be lauch at the end of this year.

The Pannonia were initially produced with the Csepel brand (from the name of the homonym Danubian island where the factory was located), The "Csepel" were classic two-strokes bikes, with a non revolutionary technology, but well builted and finished. In the first , second and third pics above, a 125 cc. model, a 250 cc.model, and a 350 cc. prototype with final shaft drive. All these bikes were realized during the '50s. In the fourth pic, the scooter "R-73" with big-diameter wheels, and motorcycle-type engine (placed under the central tunnel).

White motorcycle ads also known as Pannonia motorcycles from Hungary . Large one is from Sept.1965 the introduction to the US of the White 250 Shooting Star . A great piece suitable for framing . The 2 smaller ads are from 1966 for the 125 Super sport and the to be introduced Moto scrambler. The scrambler ad states that at the Cherry creek race the 250 White Tornado came in 3rd behind 2 650 bikes at this western states national event!

On the 13 May 2007 the Kendermag (Hemp seed) Association held its now traditional demonstration on Margaret Island. Among others aims, Kendermag is focusing on generating a discussion in society about the drug issue. According to their observations the strategy of the Hungarian government about this topic has not changed since the creation of the first drug law and it most definitely is not closing to the European Union's directives
