| Derbi GPR50 http://blog.hemmings.com Well, it looks pretty fast doesn’t it? But this is a Derbi GPR50. Although they look like an out of the crate superbike, truth be told, they have tiny engines. Derbi bikes have been around in the light-weight motorcycle market for many years, but the GPR series look like a winning idea. The GPR50 has a 50cc powerplant with a 6-speed transmission and 11.5 to 1 compression. Performance modifications to the 2-stroke engine and some exhaust enhancements (plus a good downhill) will allow for the bikes to reach 70 or 75 mph and go from zero to sixty in about 9 seconds.
